M is for Monica. i'm a full time commerce student @ UWA. i turn one year older on the 14th Oct. i ♥ Jesus and not afraid to tell the world. i want to do YWAM and missions in the future. i love heights - planes, skyscrapers, mountains, cliffs, you name it. One day i hope to go bungee jumping and sky diving. i was born in China but have lived in Australia most of my life. Having said that, i'm still quite chinese lol. i like pink things, ribbons, bows, hearts, hello kitty, ruffles, lace, florals. i have a shoe fetish. i wouldn't call myself a shopaholic, although most of my friends would say otherwise. People often see me as strong, independent, ambitious. i thank God for the past 21 years that i've been alive. He has been ever faithful, gracious and loving.

Donated blood today :D Apparently my haemoglobin is really good (the range for normal people is 120-165 and mine is 158 :D). Also went Ikea today. Bought a bookshelf for my shoes LOL. Will take a picture after i assemble it (x Currently loving the song Officially Missing You. Have it on repeat :D

Was planning to get up at 8am this morning to make a good start on studying. However, only ended up getting up at 9.30am ._. and now it's nearly 1pm and i've only gotten 1 chapter done. Three more chapters to finish by the end of today. Hopefully can get it all done. Or else i'm gonna be behind schedule (x







Had an interview with Grant Thornton today. GG. It wasn't as bad as i thought it'd be but it was still pretty bad. Will be very surprised if i got the job lol.

You never really understand and appreciate what you have until you lose it. Maybe one day when you want to talk to someone, you suddenly realise that they're not there anymore. You've always taken them for granted and never thought much of them. When they're gone, only then will you realise how important that person was in your life. How that person had a special little place in your heart; how life just isn't the same without them. And once you realise all this, it's too late. So don't live life wishing someone was there; cherish every person, every moment. Because you'll never know when the end will come. We'll all have to say goodbye sometime; and when that time comes, make the road that lead you there count. Live with no regrets.



i've been getting all these mid-season sale emails for the past few days ._. one was from Guess - 50% off all stock one day only (today). So obviously i went (x there were so many people! i wanted to get some jewellery but it turned out everything APART from jewellery (&watches) were on sale >_> so didn't end up getting anything. Urgh man, for the past week i've been having an average of 6hrs of sleep each night. So bad! Hence feeling tired everyday. Tonight, imma try and get 8 hours of sleep (x or rather, 8hrs 15mins (;



oh wow i only have 19 chapters of Romance of Three Kingdoms to read! i thought i had 100 LOL. overestimation (x mid sem on wed /: can't wait till wed night!!

One attribute of God that has really hit me in the face these past few months is His ever faithfulness. He indeed listens to prayers and answers them! i guess alot of the times i pray and i believe He will answer me, but just not immediately. However recently, man, it's been like, pray, and BAM, prayer answered. It's as if He's saying to me: don't worry, I will never forget you. And since i don't expect answers so soon, it's always caught me off guard, but i'm so glad that they did. For example, last night at youth we were praying for families: healing broken relationships with family members, praying for unity within the family etc. i knew my family needed healing, big time. You prob don't see it on the outside; my family is always happy happy. But that's not the case at all - i barely talk to my parents. We're not close at all. Pretty much everything they give me is of monetary value. And it's always been that way, so i've never felt the need to have a deeper relationship with my parents. But deep down, i know i really need to work in this area. And BAM, today, mum got us all together to have family prayer time. Talk about God's perfect timing! Man, His perfect timing never ceases to amaze me! And it never will!

Surviving on 5 hours of sleep. Bad decision to stay up so late >_> i'm thinking of just going home after work (&skip uni) to sleep -_- but then my mum will give me a whole lecture on why i should sleep earlier - early as in 11pm early. i think i've been pretty good recently. Been trying to sleep at around 12am haha.

Ok i really must start studying AFM today. So if i go to uni, finish class at 6pm, get home eat dinner, it'd be around 7. Then i'd be way toooo tired to study so will just sleep straight away. But if i sleep so early i'll prob wake up in the middle of the night (x grrrr. Ok that's it, i'm not going uni today! (now that, is how my mind works (x )

















My chinese mid-sem exam is next week and i have a gazillion chapters to read before then. This sem we are learning about the historical novel: Romance of the Three Kingdoms. i read the online english version LOL. The chinese is just WAY too hard to read /: i actually find the novel quite interesting believe it or not. To be honest i find chinese history in general quite interesting O: So it's not so much of a chore to read the chapters. i prefer reading this than studying for AFM!






Learnt my lesson from past experiences - expectations kill. So nowadays, i don't expect anything, and God always manages to surprise me! He certainly listens to and answers prayers. And i have to conclude with, God certainly has a weird sense of humour hahaha. Ahhh Your ways i can never comprehend!

i was 10mins late to my tutorial today. i blame it on the stupid traffic jam on the freeway at 9.30am! And after i sit down for 10mins, the class ends -_- so much for being diligent and coming to uni! Rah, i looked at last week's tutorial ques (missed the tute due to stupid train strikes -_-) and didn't understand a thing /: may have to go hunt down Aaron (my tutor) next week for consult ><. Ah well, apart from that, it's been a good day. Got lots of ebay stuff done (: the most productive we've ever been on a friday arvo haha.

Just been so tired lately. Haven't gotten any uni work done at all this week. For the past few days, all i've done after coming home from work or uni is: eat dinner, internet for a short while, jam on my guitar, do quiet time, sleep. And sleeping before 12am too. Haven't done my tute ques for tomo either >< my alarm is set at 7.30am - MUST get up and do them. It's only 11pm and i'm so tired i can barely keep my eyes open. Time to sleep. i think i'm getting old LOL. Nites!
