M is for Monica. i'm a full time commerce student @ UWA. i turn one year older on the 14th Oct. i ♥ Jesus and not afraid to tell the world. i want to do YWAM and missions in the future. i love heights - planes, skyscrapers, mountains, cliffs, you name it. One day i hope to go bungee jumping and sky diving. i was born in China but have lived in Australia most of my life. Having said that, i'm still quite chinese lol. i like pink things, ribbons, bows, hearts, hello kitty, ruffles, lace, florals. i have a shoe fetish. i wouldn't call myself a shopaholic, although most of my friends would say otherwise. People often see me as strong, independent, ambitious. i thank God for the past 21 years that i've been alive. He has been ever faithful, gracious and loving.

it's been quite a busy weekend.

Friday
Ate bibimbap for lunch at Poppo (with cel). forgot to take a photo ): the bibimbap was REALLY good. i really liked the sauce. it was spicy but also a little sweet. the portion was huge. cel didnt even finish hers.

Went to Forrestchase to watch the fashion parades. we watched the Forrestchase and Plaza Arcade ones. they just showcase clothes and accessories from the shops in those locations. it was my first time watching a fashion parade so it was quite exciting. we also got to sit in the front row coz there werent many people there that day.

we went to harbour town afterwards. i bought a $1 belt from Dotti!! also bought a pair of jeans from awol - they were perfect length! i dont usually buy jeans here coz they are usually way too long S: also bought 2xscarf+1xtights for $10 from jeanswest C: quite happy with my purchases.

Saturday - chinese field trip

Sunday
left home at 8:30am for church. after church went straight to city with Joan. Joan got her Ps!!! so she drove us to bullcreek station and we took the train to city. on the train:


we got to city 1:30pm ish. we decided to visit the new 3 storey shopping mall before lunch. there's a food court on the top floor of the mall. me and joan ate sumosalad for lunch. it was really good!


after lunch we went looking for dessert (: we ate lemon cheesecake and queen silvia at miss mauds C: it was SO yummy. look at joan's excited face haha


after feeling all full and satisfied, we went looking for presents. we met cel and ivy at 3pm to watch the Myer Basement fashion parade at forrestchase. camwhoring while waiting in line. there were SO many ppl!




this dude from 93.7 was the MC. and Cassie was the guest singer.



didnt take many pics during this parade coz didnt have a good view of the stage.

at 4:30pm me and ivy walked to northbridge Cinema Paradiso to watch the original jap version (with english subs ofcourse) of Ponyo!! we were meeting james benjamin and carrie and her friends for the movie. ticket was $11 for students. had high expectations for this movie, however it didnt turn out to be as good as the previous Studio Ghibli movies.

after the movie james, ivy and i left for dinner at Fast Eddy's Carousel. met with Jon, Sharon, Andre, Frame and Sheng there. Yi came 45mins late (as expected) with Ken. it was a really good time of catch up and fellowship. i ordered teriyaki chicken and lemonlime&bitter. the chicken was SO salty. quite disappointing. never having that again. forgot to take pictures! we talked about alot of stuff. i learnt many many new things, about horror movies and ninjas XD the highlight of the night was definitely Frame's 'ghost' story. it was a true story of his friend. the build up to the climax was SO scary and then ROFL !! the ending was just unexpected. i was laughing SO hard. hahahaha. we stayed at Fast Eddy's until 11:30pm. wow what a day. was so tired.

Monday
had my Myer group interview at 9:15am. mum was pissed at me for coming home so late the previous day. she ignored me the whole morning before i left house.

the interview went better than i expected! Thank God. i was quite relieved. hopefully i'll be able to get in (:

the interview ended at 10:20am ish. met lanie for lunch at 11am. we went to a nice korean restaurant that i dont know the name of ><" however i reckon the bibimbap at poppo is nicer XD



after lunch shopped around until 1:30pm. met angus and weion for pool. yi came 2x45mins late (i.e 1.5hrs) after pool we went to try out the new bbt place which used to be Utopia (downstairs). turned out it wasnt as good as utopia (way too sweet). then we went home.
